Webb Fontaine participated in the 2nd Seychelles Maritime Week, held from September 24 to 26, 2024.
Organized by the Seychelles Ports Authority, this event provided a valuable networking opportunity between foreign and local investors in East Africa’s maritime transport infrastructure.
Hosting the event in Seychelles promoted East Africa's ports, shipping, and transport logistics infrastructure to foreign investors and trade professionals. The two-day conference featured 25 world-class speakers addressing key issues and challenges for East Africa's transportation and logistics infrastructure. It brought together 250 senior executives, including harbour masters, port engineers, procurement decision-makers, shippers, cargo owners, shipping lines, and logistics companies from across Africa.
The event also featured a commercial exhibition with 15 exhibitors and sponsors, offering networking opportunities for delegates and showcasing the latest solutions in maritime transport. Webb Fontaine was proud to be part of this prestigious gathering, contributing to discussions that will shape the future of East Africa’s maritime industry.
