Looking for an internship?

Whilst we don’t offer an official internship program, we welcome the opportunity to have interns in our organisation. Some of our best employees started at Webb Fontaine as interns and are still will us, growing and learning many years later. If you’re interested in interning with us, please get in touch.

You applied. Now what?

Every role is different so some processes may vary dependent on what’s required for that specific role but this is a rough guideline of what you can expect once you apply for a job at Webb Fontaine.

1. Application submitted

You will get an email to confirm we’ve received your application. If you don’t hear from us again within 10 working days, you haven’t been shortlisted for interview.

2. Initial interview

If we want to move forward with your application we will invite you for a screening interview, usually with someone from our talent acquisition team.

3. Technical assessment

Many, but not all, roles have an assessment to gauge your technical abilities, see how you approach a task and give you a better idea of what the job is like.

4. Second interview

This will be a longer interview where we will discuss your assessment and you will have the chance to ask more in-depth questions about the role

5. Additional interviews

Depending on the role, you may be required to meet several people across the course of multiple interviews but we will make you aware of this at the outset

6. Decision stage

Hopefully, after the hiring team debriefs, you will receive an offer. If not, we can provide you with feedback as to why you were not successful

7. Onboarding

Once you’ve accepted your offer we will give you all the information you need to know about the new hire onboarding process

You have questions, we have answers

How long does the application process typically take?
This can differ from position to position, but generally the whole process should take a maximum of 6 weeks and a minimum 2 weeks.

Where are your roles based?
Our roles are based all over the world – in any country where we have projects or R&D centre. The job scope permitting, we also have a number of remote employees who work with us as consultants – they could be based anywhere in the world.

Will I hear back if not successful?
We receive hundreds of applicants, both for vacancies that we have as well as speculative candidates.  Unfortunately, we cannot personally respond to every one of these applicants.  Should you have not heard from us in 10 working days, it is safe to assume that you have not been successful. Keep in mind that all applicants data are saved with us and we will revisit this as and when new vacancies arise.

Can I apply for a role if I don’t live in that country?
Yes you can if you are willing to relocate. The company does not normally bear the cost for relocation of employees.

Does Webb Fontaine support hybrid working?
This would depend on the location that you are based in, but in most of our locations we do support some form of hybrid working.

Does Webb Fontaine offer internships?
Yes we do. Whilst we don’t have an official intern program, we accept interns on a case by case basis. If you’d like to be considered please apply above.

I saw a role recently but can’t find it anymore, can I still apply?
If the role is no longer posted, it is safe to assume that it has been filled. However you can send us your CV and apply as a speculative candidate. We will keep your details in our data base and may contact you should a suitable role arise in the future.
