On April 25, 2024, Guinea took a significant step forward in enhancing trade facilitation with the launch of the Guinea Smart Transit Tracking project.

This landmark event was marked by a grand ceremony attended by esteemed dignitaries, including the Budget Minister and the Deputy Director General of Customs. Their presence highlighted the pivotal role this initiative will play in streamlining customs processes and strengthening transit security in the region.

During the ceremony, the Budget Minister symbolically affixed the first GPS device to a truck, officially inaugurating the use of the Webb Tracker system in Guinea. This cutting-edge technology is set to revolutionize transit tracking by providing greater efficiency, transparency, and security in trade operations, paving the way for a more robust and seamless system.

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts and collaboration of the teams in Guinea and the Armenia R&D Center. Congratulations to everyone involved in this transformative project, which promises to set a new benchmark in trade innovation!
