Hierarchical Positioning

This position will report directly to the Director General and the group Marketing and Communications Manager.

 

Position summary description

– The position will consist of implementing communication and marketing strategies to improve the visibility and enhance the brand image and impact of the company

– Manage internal and external communications actions to promote products and enhance the company’s image. It must allow to reinforce the proximity between banks and their customers and to strengthen loyalty, by putting the relational approach at the heart of their concerns

– Support the management team in the development and implementation of the strategic marketing communications plan, as well as brand promotion in accordance with industry and group standards and guidelines

– Manage internal and external company events, including product and branch launches, coordination of catering, event spaces, entertainment, general organization, slide shows, photography and other materials, etc

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with the client and other agencies to promote the interests of the Company

– Contribute to the formulation of the annual marketing and communication budget and ensure its    effective and timely use

– Coordinate corporate and commercial communication activities

– Design and organize specific institutional events

– Design the multi-channel communication action plan

– Define brand positioning in terms of institutional image

– Develop internal communications strategy

– Maintain a permanent relationship with the media and external stakeholder

– All these tasks must be carried out in accordance with the company’s validated internal procedures and quality policy

– Leading and organizing internal meetings

– Carry out technical and media monitoring in the market

– Designing innovative promotional tools (brochures, product sheets etc…)

– Run stands and other promotional events

– Ensuring media coverage of the events organized

– Develop messages and public awareness campaigns

– Oversee the implementation of the various media plans

– Monitor and create social media activity, promotion and engagement

 

Assets and Knowledge

– Good strategic and analytical skills and good judgement

– Good knowledge of the media in the country (TV, Radio, press, communication agency)

– Good networks in the media (journalists, press agencies, etc…)

– Expert level of Oral and written presentation skills in French and English

– Attention to detail and editing ability

– Good leadership and project management skills

– Mastery of Microsoft Office, online platforms, website and social media management

– Experience of working under pressure

– Know how to manage a multidisciplinary team

– Experience working in a team

– Creativity is a must in this role and to be able to think outside the box

 

Level of education

Qualification in public relations, marketing or communications.

Knowledge of branding, marketing and communication theories and experience in media.

 

Other requirements

– Fluency in English/French is a must

– Have held this position for at least 5 years
