Who is Didier?

As a Swiss & French national, Didier joined Webb Fontaine at the beginning of 2016 as Managing Director of Webb Fontaine Holding SA. He then became the CEO of Webb Fontaine Group FZ LLC at the end of 2017.

Prior to joining Webb Fontaine, Didier spent more than 25 years working for international companies providing services to Government (Customs, Ministries of Finance and Ministries of Commerce) and to the Trade, successively as Managing Director in several countries, Regional Manager and Executive Vice President.

He also worked for 6 years at UNCTAD during the 1980s, starting from the original concept of ASYCUDA (Customs Management System) to its development and implementation in several countries in Africa and Latin America.

Didier holds a Master of Business Administration and Computers Sciences from the Orsay University in Paris.

He is married and father of 3 sons. Didier had the opportunity to gain experience in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia and South-East Asia, giving him ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. His stressful working life is always well-balanced by a lot of sport activities (such as tennis, swimming and cycling) and reading.

Fun fact! Back in his heyday Didier used to play rugby to a high level. These days he prefers to watch rather than be in the scrum but his love for the sport stays strong.
