Webb Fontaine joins the Regional Single Window Conference at KenTrade’s invitation

On 8 and 9 April 2026, we took part in the Regional Single Window Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, following an exclusive invitation from the Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade).

We were represented by our CEO, Alioune Ciss, and Senior VP of Sales, Ali Noor. Speaking as a special guest, Alioune shared how Webb Fontaine is redefining the landscape of global trade. Our message was clear: automation alone is no longer enough. Trade volumes are increasing, fraud is becoming more and more sophisticated, and systems built on fixed rules struggle to keep up.

To keep pace with a system under immense pressure, border agencies must move beyond simple "if-then" rules toward adaptive, real-time decision-making. That means using data and AI to assess risk as it happens, focusing attention where it is needed most, and letting compliant trade move faster.

Single Window platforms are a natural place for this shift. By bringing together the agencies involved in clearing goods, they create the shared data foundation that smarter decision-making depends on.

We thank KenTrade for their kind invitation and all participants for a rich exchange of ideas. We remain committed to building a smarter, faster and more secure future for trade in Kenya and across the region.
