We were the Silver Sponsor of the 3rd Port Development Middle East & Africa Forum, which took place on 8–9 October 2026 at the Four Seasons Casablanca, Morocco.
Our SVP Sales MENA, Rani Wehbe, took the stage for the session "Connected Ports, Smarter Trade: The Role of PCS in Efficiency, Governance and Trust", while Sarah Ndaw and Pascaline Berwa Ndayambaje represented Webb Fontaine throughout the forum and at our booth.
Our session looked at the part Port Community Systems (PCS) play in three areas. Efficiency: a PCS connects the many organisations involved in a port, from authorities and terminal operators to shipping lines, logistics providers and Customs, so information is shared once and securely rather than re-entered at every step. Governance: shared data gives authorities clearer oversight of what is moving through the port. Trust: when every party works from the same reliable information, collaboration becomes easier.
Connected port communities are key to smarter, more seamless trade. As volumes grow across the Middle East and Africa, ports that share data effectively will be better placed to cut delays and compete.
Attendees joined our session and met our team at the Webb Fontaine booth to discuss how connected port communities can support smarter, more seamless trade. Thank you to the organisers and to everyone who visited us in Casablanca.
