Côte d’Ivoire: Goods classification and valuation as well as Single Window platform implementation
Côte d’Ivoire: Webb Fontaine has been appointed to implement goods classification and valuation as well as its state of the art Single Window platform for foreign trade for the Côte d’Ivoire Government.
Destination Inspection services
Setup of a “National ruling Centre” for the Classification, valuation and Risk Assessment of goods imported into the Côte d’Ivoire. Services cover all goods imported into the Côte d’Ivoire by air, sea or land and involve both Webb Fontaine offices in the Côte d’Ivoire and Webb Fontaine Classification and Valuation Centre (CvC) in Manila, Philippines. These activities fall under the scope of the Ruling Centre which provides Destination Inspection services with a strong capacity building component for the Government which allows Customs to take over 20% of additional transactions every year with a view to become self-sufficient after 5 years.
Single Window Program
Establishment of the National Single Window (NSW) environment for foreign trade and development and deployment of the electronic NSW trade portal called “Guichet unique pour le Commerce Extérieur (GuCE)”. E-services are gradually incorporated into the NSW portal which will involve a growing number of Government agencies over the next two years.
